I am using a PSP with bios version 1.50 and I want to get a backup now so in the future if it goes bad I have another that works. Looking in the stores now I am seeing mostly 1.52 bios. does anyone know if bios 1.52 works with the same 1.50 homebrew stuff? Is anyne using 1.52 to do homebrew?

Off Topic, but, Buy a 1.52, upgrade to 2.0, then downgrade to 1.50.

1.52 does not do homebrew. Although you can easily upgrade it to 2.00 and then use the downgrader to get to 1.50. Watch out for 2.01 though - you don't want that.

the 1.52 should even contain the demo disk with the 2.0 update. just use that and you can't be wrong.

FYI its called "Firmware" not bios.

I heard that you can even downgrade version 2.01. If you put the tiff in the music folder instead of the photo folder

Please do not post rumours here.
[AFAIK the MUSIC folder trick is bogus]

If you have personally verified that something works and would be of benefit to this developer community, please feel free to post.
Otherwise I suggest posting on one of the other websites that are full of unverified rumors.
