Hi, it's been at least one week since I have a cvs problem (always the same, either with 'update', 'update -dPA', or 'checkout .').
Here's the log :
cvs server: Updating libhdd
cvs server: failed to create lock directory for `/home/ps2cvs/libhdd' (/home/ps2cvs/libhdd/#cvs.lock): Permission denied
cvs server: failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/home/ps2cvs/libhdd'
cvs [server aborted]: read lock failed - giving up
Am I alone ?
Would it be that someone might delete the lock ? |

I confirm that. There are several other locks in other directories too. Oobles? :) _________________ pixel: A mischievous magical spirit associated with screen displays. this was caused by me removing the LockDir setting in CVSROOT/config, since it prevented me from tagging ps2link. ive re-added the LockDir, LockDir is a "nicer" way rather than having lock files in each rep. but as I said it prevented me from tagging ps2link, not really sure why. _________________ Kung VU |
