HI IM A NEW AT PROGRAMMING. I GOT CYGWIN. AND THE LATEST TOOLCHAIN. WHEN I TRY TO INSTALL THE TOOLCHAIN I GET THIS ERROR....

First, please, for the sake of everyone here, TAKE OFF YOUR CAPS KEY.
Second, good luck programming on the PSP if you cannot figure out what this error means.
Third, go to "FTP://FTP.GNU.ORG/PUB/GNU/BINUTILS/BINUTILS-2.16.1.TAR.GZ" in your web browser, and see if it asks you to download a file. |

I got this same error and later realized that in between the time that I originally setup my linux box and now, that my ISP changed DNS servers and so I had to update DNS servers in the etc/resolv.conf file
NB: I am on Linux not cygwin so I don't know if there is a similiar thing on cygwin or not...
Hope this helps someone in the future... |
