Hello,

First of all I'd like to congratulate you all for the excellent site!!

I am playing with the dev compilers and trying to understand the PS2. I already made a dump of PS2 Bios and it helps a lot to understand stuff!

My question is: the new HDD overwrites the old browser with a new version. Is there a way to dump this new browser version? Or to access these new modules on the HDD?

I saw that some Bios modules are packed, is there any information about the packing algoritm?

Just a forenote.... I have no idea how the new browser works, and am also trying to *hack* it and by hack i mean mod or enhance..

From what i understand, the new browser (ie. when u use the utility disc and format the hdd, to install the new browser) it fucks with all ur mods... like it messes everything up and nothing works correctly, toxic os and ps2os seem to be good alternatives, i think what your looking for/to create is kinda like evox for xbox am i rite?
