I am a complete noob when it comes to PS2 development, but I have quite a bit of experience in coding for PC in various languages and was looking to start for PS2.
I have been searching around and haven't found a definite answer. I was wondering if it is possible to take a homebrew program and compile/pack it ( not quite sure as to what needs to be done, I am a noob) so as to allow it to run on a ps2 harddisk from hdloader. Basically my question is how to take a homebrew app and turn it into the same format as a comercial game that can run from the harddrive.
Forgive me if this has been discussed before, I have searched for hours and come up completely dry.
Thanks in advance! |

Hdloader and similar apps are not discussed in ps2dev forums. Sorry.
But if you do look around, it is possible to put homebrew apps on the hdd drive and run them without using those warezing hddloader-type tools. The info and stuff you need is very close by. If you try, you will find them. |
