Hi guys,

I have never used the EyeToy in my life, but I started jonesin for it and I bid on one on Ebay. I thought of this idea after reading someone elses post about a 3d sword they developedhttp://forums.ps2dev.org/viewtopic.php?t=1397 Anyways, the point is, could I use the EyeToy, to track movements, and not necessarily display the users image to the screen at the same time? Say I was to port a fps over, and use a dance dance revolution pad for my movements, and control the weapons and any other functions with the eyetoy... just throwing the feasibility of the concept around in my head, as a final project for next semester. I was doin some PSP stuff, but this might be more exciting, interactive, and hopefully, more plausible as PS2 documentation is more plentiful than the PSP at the moment (no?!).

Anyways, please hit me back with any suggestions, delimiting factors, etc, if this tickles your curiousity a bit.
