hey every one,

I'm looking for some coders for PC/PSP.

I have looked all over the place for a HB app, that can recive video/audio from a special software called K!TV. Also it could be cool if the app could send some commands back to the PC/K!TV.

http://www.kastortv.org
This is the TV software, it's really great!

This is my idears
For the HB app:
Channel change (commands sent to the PC/K!TV)
Input Source change (commands sent to the PC/K!TV)

And the plugin that must be coded for K!TV:
Opportunity to change video bitrate (384/512/768/1024)
Opportunity to change audio bitrate (64/96/128/196)
Output format in Ogg (Video=DIV3 and Audio=MP3)
Recive Channel and Source change commands

This was my little idear, hope some one can help me :-)

sry, but can not code at all! :-S

i don't think you understand what it is. since you ask me how it would be better than pimp streamer. it's nothing like pimp streamer, the only thing that they both have in common is video and audio stream... did you even read the text..?

it's looks like you just read the first part of the 3'rd line

quote:"I have looked all over the place for a HB app, that can recive video/audio..."

i want to stream Analog/Digital TV signal directly from my tv card on my PC. to the PSP (i already can do that) but with channel and source change... Pimp streamer can't do that.

Think about it like a "Location free player" just without the stupid box.

If you still can't see it's nothing like PIMPstreamer... then i'm sorry...

And by the way, I didn't said anything about it would be better than PIMPstreamer. I didn't even mention it ;-)

I just said that an app with such compabiblities is already done, you can watch tv using pimpstreamer, the only thing you can't do currently is changing channels, and it's much simplier to add this feature to pimpstreamer, than write a whole new program. Don't invent something that's done already. And even if it's not, then look for something closest to the thing you seek, and try to modify it,usually it's better option.

@gambiting - He doesn't want streaming video/audio to the psp, he wants a "super remote control" for a specific PC player app. He wants the OSD for this player to appear on the PSP, using the PSP controls to control the player. I had a similar idea for MPlayer or VLC. Just never have gotten around to it as I'm working on other stuff. If I do, I might look into support for this app as well. I've downloaded their program and the sdk, but I don't use Windows much at all.

Code it yourself! What the fuck do you think this is? "HireACoderForFree"?
By the quality of your posts, it looks like you DO NOT know C/C++, lots of developers wish to join a team, but do not want to be bossed around by people who cannot code themselves.

I WAS ASKING FOR HELP! But it's apparently illegal here... or? i NEVER said anything about bossing around with ppl. I was asking for help. then i was told to give one reason why it's better than Pimp Streamer... can't see the point there, becus i can stream the audio/video with pmpvlc, wich i think is much better than pimp.

What did i do to derserve that? Thats right! NOTHING!
I wasn't flaming you or did anything to piss you of... and now you are flaming me.
But i will turn this ship around, and not sink that low, like you did right there!
--------------------------------------------

So to any one who want's to help out:

I'm not the type who is bossing around with ppl, i'm asking some one to please HELP me.
I know it's takes a long time to code, but i don't have the time to learn it. Becaus i'm helping other ppl with their PSP all day long. I'm an forum super admin, on a Danish PSP forum, the biggest one in this little country.

The only thing i have coded is an easy installer for the pandora menu's
so even a nOOb can install it!

--------------------------------------------

This is to anyone who just wan't to flame:

Don't post ANY THING, I don't care about your opinion!

Thank You!

I don't ever remember one instance where a self proclaimed lamer made a request for a program that was filled by any programmer.

If you're just asking for help and can't code at all then what is this?
Ok help.. well first of all set up the toolchain and take some programming
lessons in C from pspprogramming.com. Start with a public source for
the network streaming version of PMPmod maybe.

See? Told you I was the nice one. :)

@xibit1987 - This is a site where old hands get together and ask questions like "What's the new nids for the MediaEngine?" It's not a site where people come to learn programming. It's certainly not a site where people come to request programs... unless you're offering money, of course. :D

The board here is just one step shy of being invite only. Just because anyone can join doesn't mean they can ask anything they want. Even if you're an experienced programmer out to start on the psp, the idea here is to read all the old threads back to the dawn of time, and lurk for a few months. That way you don't come off as a complete noob when you ask your first question. The basic structure of PSP programs has been completely covered by both examples in the SDK and old threads. To ask about how to set up a basic app is to invite scorn and ridicule.

And that's just the way we like it! :)
