pspsdk compile problem

hi, i'm trying to compile an sdl port of mame and at the end of compile i get this

psp-gcc: installation problem, cannot exec '/usr/local/pspdev/libexec/gcc/psp/4.
0.2/collect2.exe': Argument list too long
make: *** [data.psp] Error 1

other sources compile ok, only this has this problem, i'm using the last sdk compiled on cygwin using the psptoolchain. any hint?
