Is there a non-sun JVM for PSP under development from sony or from homebrew devs? _________________ http://www.omlette.net/uniterror/ |

I don't think that a PSP JVM is in the works, and our best bet is an official one from Sony. However, I believe that it does cost money to license a JVM, and knowing Sony, the only reason why they would shell out money is either to make more, or to cut losses. Ironically, by promoting piracy, we force Sony to give us decent updates and perhaps one day we'll get a JVM.
On the other hand, is there a way to code in C#/J# for the PSP?? |

They should just meet somewhere in the middle and instead of fighting the homebrew scene, patch their exploits but create a JVM that cant access the UMD or flash, and has other restrictions to prevent piracy, but is otherwise intact. _________________ http://www.omlette.net/uniterror/ |

We've ported a small Java runtime (a J2ME technology Kilobyte Virtual Machine). See the link below.
