Hey all
I've got a few questions that I'd like to have answered, for most of you this will be childs play. I hope you don't mind helping. Thanks for any time you spend on this.
1) I'm currently making a simple clone of an arcade game (one of my favourites) on the psp and I'm currently having problems with the graphics. I'm currently using a slightly modified version of "Jason's Stuff" Library (res: http://www.freewebs.com/jason867/psphomebrew.htm), however I've come through a few problems.
If I want to clear the screen I use the pspDebugScreenClear(); command, however when i use this in certain parts of the screen my grapics become invisible >_<, yet in other parts the screen looks fine.
Is there an alternative I can use?
2) I'd like to use some form of double buffering, so that I can draw the picture and once it's complete I can throw it up to the screen. Is there a simple way I can do this. What's the code I'd need and I'm guessing this would make the clear screen code invalid. :)
I've looked at the GU and it makes my head spin.
3) I've set up libpng. Is there some simple code that would make this work? Does this support alpha blending?
Thanks for anytime spent on this.

Hope to release the joys of my labour soon. Made a missile command clone. This forum is great for resources :) as long as you haven't been drinking... |
