My friend bought a couple of days ago a pandorra battery, so I wanted to make a magic stick to unbrick it, so I used the easy installer created from this site`s team, http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/708959
I installed it as an universal unbricker and made it into a magic stick, so I bought it to my friends, it worked, first I putted the stick, then the battery and it worked, I unbricked with that card 2 PSP`s, so my friend borrowed to me the battery and I got home very happy `cause I`ll unbrick my PSP BUT when I got home, and putted first the magic stick, then the battery, the easy installer menu won`t appeare, there is only a black screen nothing else, and the green light at the power is on...
I tried to reinstall the stick, even to recharge the battery, but still no work... :(

well this isn`t any problem with the PSP `cause it reads cards, but the programm won`t work for the PSP bought from america, `cause at the other ones from europe worked, so I was thinking for some kind of solution for this problem thinking that maybe the other one needs some other kind of software?

lol hah funny hey let me help you fix this really quick

download dc8, copy & install(run) to(on) memstick, make sure psp battery is pandora, putn memstick in other (broken) psp, put battery in psp then follow instructions to install 5xx m33 then keep battery in let system (psp) come up and use memstick to make battery not pandora anymore and there you have it it should be fixed if not you might be sol

hey be sure to use despear del cemetary (wrong word)
and also make sure to use pandora (one with statue) to make the psp

problem found (i think) :after you install once with mem card you have to reinstall the memstick to it so that it works again because it somehow checks to see if that memcard was used before and mem card will be disabled after initial use i had this problem once before try it

edit: message will self destruct in 5 hours unless i forget lol just kiddint but wouldnt it suck if i just erased all of this

You're probably screwed. These are tell-tale signs of an unmoddable PSP slim (We are talking slim right, and not 1000 or 3000?). I used to have one like this and took it back. If you still have the box, you can check for sure. There is a sticker that says "Serial # For Registration." If that number starts with "AB02," your PSP cannot be hacked.

You're the one who's spamming the forum.
I've held off on programming questions that aren't PSP specific to go with the flow,
so I don't think it's appropriate to post end user problems here when there are plenty of
support forums.

well to be sure you get it I got a psp 2000 slim, bought from brandsmart florida :D,
and how come my friends with other 2000 slim PSPs got hacked, in fact I hacked them with my one card and battery and mine doesn`t work!
when I use the normal battery the magic card woks fine with no problems, but when I insert it and then the battery pandorra t won`t read the card! `cause there should be a flash at the card icon like the other ones but at mine there isn`t at all...

I don't know,
can you show us some source code for the programming related problem you have?

Seriously, your question has been answered, take the PSP back.
It can't be "hacked", and I use that term loosely, because you're really just
the end user of someone else's hacking program.

The last version of the Slim before the 3000 uses the same kind of protection, so it isn't hackable. Once the 3000 is hacked, that will take care of those unhackable 2000's at the same time, but until then, you need an earlier Slim.

And these sorts of questions should be taken to MaxConsole, DCemu, eXophase, PSXScene, QJ.net, or one of the other forums devoted to that sort of thing. This board is for development on the Playstation platforms. As such, we can sometimes be a bit snippy with non-development related questions. Devs don't want to wade through dozens of posts on playing games and the latest hack... unless the post is something like how you're improving the hack with some code you're showing off here to help others.
