Hi All,
I have bricked my PSP while upgrading to a newer Firmware with low battery. Is it all that NAND Flash Memory corrupted in this whole process and everything else is fine? and I just need to reprogram that NAND Flash memory in any way? And to reprogram it I need to get firmware dump from my friend? What application will be used to get the firmware dump?
I have access to Universal Programmer and I think my friend can do soldering so that we can reprogram that Flash memory. I need some confidence and approval from experts on this process. If anything above is wrong then kindly enlighten me. I have access to universal programmers and jtag devices as well but because of my limited knowledge I need your opinions. I have seen the installation manual of PSP devolution at http://www.psp-devolution.com/instructions/instructions.html and think i will be doing the similar thing to reprogram the NAND flash memory using Universal Flash Programmer. What you say?
My PSP is TA-082.
Thanks,
Touseef

Thanks AtVGC, Thats a great link.
But i would also like to know if it is possible to reprogram with a Flash Programmer, without using someone else's PSP or without using 32MB NandFlash Module.
Thanks,
Touseef |
