Just examining the PCB that holds the button pad, I notice that these appear to be pressure-sensitive; ie: the harder you press the button, the lower the resistance across the contacts.

I've heard that some PS2 games use this kind of functionality. Has anyone explored how to get the analog reading on the PSP? Could this be what the second parameter to sceCtrlReadBufferPositive() is used for?

I think I will. I am new to this stuff, though, so I'll probably have to ask a bunch of questions about how, exactly to figure this out. Trial and error? I haven't seen any PSP games that use this feature, so I assume that disassembly is not going to tell me anything. Any tips on how to go about this?

I've also been meaning to figure out how to get audio input, which we all know the PSP is capable of, but which the SDK does not yet seem to support.
