As everybody in Brazil that owns an Playstation 2, I have a modded console (It is serious, with 'everybody' I mean 'everybody': in my city, 600,000 inhabitants, you can buy a modded Playstation 2 with 5 illegal games of your choice for R$ 900, all this in a respectable store on the second floor of the city main urban bus station, an government building. Each dollar worth about R$ 2.50 at this time).
Well, I am not here to discuss piracy, I told this only to you know that for me and everybody I know, it is more worthwhile to have an PS2 software that only works with a modchip to backup their memcard data than buying an specilized hardware for this.
I would like to make an PS2 server and an PC client that allows me to backup memory card via LAN. Could you point me where can I get information about the memcard filesystem, file format and the common backup file format utilized in the PC? |
