|
|
I'm having some problems with psplink and usbhostfs_pc.
When I try and reset psplink it seems to reset find but I am unable to do anything else. My telnet client says Resetting psplink and psplink seems to reset fine but I doesn't show a cmd prompt and I'm unable to do anything else. The only way I can get things working again is if I reset usbhostfs_pc. This is frustrating because It's annoying to have to restart usbhostfs_pc and reconnect through telnet after every reset. Any help is appreciated

| You could try upgrading to psplinkusb but I have seen it do stupid things like this before and it might not help. Try tweaking the timeout value by passing say -t 1 when you run usbhostfs_pc |

thanks, that worked. I've noticed that sometimes the software becomes less responsive i.e. if i try and load the module there'll be a noticeable delay before it starts, ls lags a little. The same is true with other commands.

I updraged my ubuntu distro to 7.10 then i had the same problem.
The optimal timeout value seems to be > 30. |
