| check out these guys over at http://unbricker.com/ the are trying to make and unbricker and universal downgrader for the psp.These guys look like the have potential. |

These guys have bought a flash programmer and believe that they can just flash a new firmware on the chip. They are also taliking about making a "clip-on" adapter to reflash the PSP.
I have seen NO technical knowledge displayed by them and NO information about any nof their work. The only progress they have made is first buying a PSP on ebay, which wasn't good enough for them and then getting one with a dodgy screen donated.
There has been no updates to their site since they got the second PSP and mucked around with their forums or whatever.
I don't believe you will see anything of interest from these kids. But I hope they have fun trying and learn something in the process.

further to my previous post, Ive just been reading their website for a laugh. There was plenty...

Really? Thats a fact that they program NANDs that way? Proof?
If you knew that, then why not ty JTAG *FIRST* ?
The first to methods that were "tried" were not actually tried as they state that "we realised that it was a MCP"... so they didnt even research the chip before planning to hack it off.
One member first says this:
