|
|
| Hi, With the new swaploit, it would be nice if the second memory stick could have a menu program on it that allowed you to select other programs to load (like evo-x on the xbox). That way, we wouldnt have to either have a dummy folder on ms1 for each program, nor would we have to rename files on ms2. Is it possible for a running program to launch another unencrpyted executable on the PSP? or does the kernel do the signature check each time it loads a new module? if so, would it be possible to just load the elf into ram, and jmp to it (bypassing the kernel call?) Ideally, it would automatically enumerate all programs on the memory stick, and provide a menu (like the sony menu for offical memory stick programs) to select which one. Also, it would be nice if there was some kind of API call provided that allowed homebrew to return to the menu (so as not to have to swap again). That would be sweeeeeet :) |

Yes, yes it would. Unfortunately "Can we do X?" is the same as "I have an idea for X..." so I have to lock this thread. Come back when you have written a loader, or have more to impart than feature requests. _________________ "He was warned..." |
