Just tried the prebuilt 0.22 (Feb 3) package on a vanilla PSP with the 3.90 software update from Sony. The package fails to start from the GUI loader.
Is there any secret sauce needed to get this up and going? I don't think the 1.50 route is for me. Should the prebuilt package work on an out of the box machine? _________________ Iain |

You need to install a custom firmware to run any homebrew (that includes uCLinux). There's a fairly decent howto here on using Pandora's Battery to do the install of a cfw (I'd recommend M33-3.90) :

There's also many other guides (and youtube video guides as well). Good luck with freeing your PSP. _________________ "We are dreamers, shapers, singers, and makers.
