Is it possible to move a file by updating the FAT, rather then copying it and deleting the original. The later method has a couple of downsides, it takes longer, and it requires twice as much free space as the size of the file being moved. This would be handy for directories too.

Also, is it possible the get the date modified attribute of a file or directory?
