Hey Guys I am also new to this!

I'm wonderign what is my best option when I already have a chipped ps2. I found a used network adapter and I wana pick it up so that I can do this, however if its cheaper to go the USB route, I'd like a lil more information on that.... Sorry. I tried searching Network Adapter vs USB but results turned up nothing..

I would like to know which is better for developing homebrew for the PS2 (which is easier, more reliable, etc)

thanks

A network adapter is quite preferrable. It's faster and the tools are more robust / still being worked on. If a major bug comes up with ps2link it'll be fixed, but naplink probably will never be updated again.

...and I'd imagine that the price difference between a PL2301 cable and a used network adapter are negligable at this point...

Yes...

I thought my recommendation was quite clear ;)

You should also learn how to spell "the" correctly.

everyone i know knows that its childish and
extremely ignorant of what your brain capacity
should be by now in this modern age ...its sad
that kids would actually consider this cool and
that its acceptable to most online drooling nerds
who sweat in their transformers underwear while
fragging in some mindless unreal arena ...not calling
you one of these kids but if you want others to one day
consider you an adult then its best you start
presenting yourself as an adult and leave those
kiddie toys alone
