Excuse me for asking but what EXACTLY do I have to get from the SVN to get started ? There are quite a lot of dirs over there, and i just want to know what's needed to get started.
I got svn://svn.ps2dev.org/ps2/trunk/ps2sdk, what else should I get?
Also from what I read some of these tools are made for running PS2 LINUX.
So PRETTY PLEASE what do i need to develop let's say, a game for ps2? |

Assuming you are using windows you need cygwin installed, and with the right options (all dev options, and svn), search the forums for more details.
You then run the toolchain script (from ps2toolchain in SVN) it'll download, build, and install the toolchain and sdk, the readme will explain it in more detail.
You may also want to grab gsKit. _________________ Shoot Pixels Not People!

| Thanks a lot. :) BTW the forum discussions on the topic are really messed up, and some really really old, so that's why I asked. |

Understandable.. if not repeated often >_<
The 'start here' on the front page does need to be rewritten, and new tutorials need to be made, as what is out there is horribly outdated... _________________ Shoot Pixels Not People!
