Java ps2vfs server in linux

Hi, I use the AR media player to load the Reality Media Player 1.50 to play streaming videos from my computer. Everything works perfectly with ps2vfs server in WinXP. But in Linux, it doesn't work. Somehow, the ps2vfs-ps server doesn't receive any communications from the PS2 Player (I set loglevel to ALL in the GUI, but nothing is printed out on the console). Could somebody help me on how to make this server works in Linux (I work on Linux 95% of the time).

FYI, I'm able to ping the PS2 from my PC. I use Java version 1.5.0_06 in both Windows and Linux. SuSE 10.1.

I just want to follow up on this. It turns out this is due to the SuSEfirewall. I disabled it and everything is fine.
