I've just released the beta for my PSP port of Aleph One (the opensource version of the Marathon Trilogy).
At the moment it is only working with Marathon 2 and Marathon Infinity and it is 1.50 kernel too but i'll try to compile a slim compatible version as soon as i can.
Prepackaged version of the game can be found here:
Marathon 2 - Durandal
Marathon Infinity
Readme file is included but it should all work out of the box (with a bit of luck :)) |

| It's coming really soon if there aren't major issues to stop me, it's just that i don't have a slim around so i went for the 1.50 version first |

Just run it in GAME5XX (assuming you're using the current firmware). The Phat runs 3.xx+ apps just the same as the Slim. The differences are not the same amount of ram and no TV support. Those two you can try to get help on after it's working as a user mode prx. :)
Good work on just getting it to work... I've seen a thread on it over at DCemu that's probably a couple years old. |

| Thanks! I know that the fat can run 3.xx+ apps, what i ment was that I thought getting it to work on 1.50 first would have been easier, i had to use some kernel mode functions and i know they must be called from an external prx for non 1.50 apps. But since i'm a veeery bad psp developer situation may have changed now as i don't know anything about 4.xx and 5.xx (i'm still running 3.90, shame on me!) |
