(reading is easy, writing is trickier)

Also check out some of the released programs that write to flash0/flash1 like PspPersonalize/PspSet/WabVersionChanger. AFAIK they are released as binary only [no source] so you need a little disassembly. At least follow some of the same pre-checks (ie. make sure the battery is full or AC adapter charged before starting to write etc)
GENERAL WARNING: writing to flash0 is very dangerous (for you and the people who use your program)

that won't work i need to be able to edit topmenu_plugin.rco to change the XMB and sysconf_plugin.rco to change the version name in System Information.

Hey edwardfma,
don't make a program like this! I'm the maker of PSPSET! And brick one psp by changing the name from the UMD to D:/! The edit topmenu_plugin.rco works great with the MTH Firmware loader! But after I flashed it to the flash0 my psp don't start up! ;)
Just for info ;)
