Hello,

Trying to execute and update toolchain.sh howeverm Im getting the following issue:

$ ./toolchain.sh
--20:10:42-- ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/binutils/binutils-2.16.1.tar.gz
=> 'binutils-2.16.1.tar.gz'
Resolving ftp.gnu.org... 199.232.41.7
Connecting to ftp.gnu.org:199.232.41.7:21... failed: No route to host.
ERROR DOWNLOADING BINUTILS

Anyone got any ideas with this one as I'm stumped !!

This usually means that the server is down you want to download from. Do you have restricted access and must you a proxy server?

I have tried it again today and its still the same, how else can I update and execute toolchain.sh ???

I have tried turning off the my firewall but still no luck !!

If you get the file it's looking for and put it in the current directory, the script won't try to download it.

OK that seems fair enough... however not sure where I need to put the file once I have downloaded it from another source !

Do I stick it in the /psptoolchain dir ??

Sorted it......

Got them all seperate, installed and executed !!

No problem. I knew about the file download thingy because I keep the files for when I want to update the toolchain.
