Nice, was hoping the battery and time would be added to the info bar *8) |

Where is the official release thread for PMPlayer Advance? Google isn't very helpful and places like pspupdates don't seem to even know it exists... |
I googled it and found this:) http://www.cngba.com/thread-16500070-1-1.html |

I've been playing with USBHostFS, got that working. Been hacking away at trying to get NetHostFS to work, I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Does this work over AdHoc only or Infrastructure?
*edit* And I have been reading the USBHostFS/NetHostFS guide, just can't see how it works from inside PMPlayer Advance. |

you can read the nethost guide about irshell.
because ppa's nethost came from irshell |

Maybe its just my crappy Intel WiFi adaptor, will try with my Linksys card at home, that works for X-Link KAI, should work for this. |

Nethost does work through Infastructure... I've used it myself. I don't believe it's a wireless card issue, as my card doesn't work for xlink kai, but yet it still works for infrastructure nethost.

Any advice on how to get it working through infrastructure in PMPlayer Advance? I've tried loads of things, nothing seems to work. |

Could someone please re-host the avc/aac muxer sources (pmp_muxer_avc_src.rar)? The link a few pages back is already dead.
Thanks!
EDIT:
Nevermind, found it... |

hmm, I am having trouble playing pmp files on my psp
edit: ok, figured it out finally :D
after converting, i need to run the PMP Remuxer v1.00 (from PMP v1.xx to PMP v2.xx) thingo, and then it works
hm, is there a way to encode to pmp 2.xx directly, as a one step process? |

Yes, XviD4PSP is one of them. |

cooleyes, found a trailer that seems to cause a playback error when using PMP AVC + AAC. The Shrek the 3rd HD trailers (from apple.com) encoded with VBR or ABR AAC audio (using FAAC) locks up the player after a bit. The same trailer encodes and plays back perfectly with MP3 audio so I'm guessing its either a player issue, a muxer issue or an issue with FAAC.
Your help in tracking it down would be much appreciated.
*edit* Tried in your modified PMP Mod AVC build and it dies with "pmp_decode_get: avcodec_decode_audio failed"
*edit* Never mind, I encoded with NeroAACEnc, converted to ATDS .aac with mp4box and muxed that, plays perfectly. So it seems to be a problem with how FAAC encodes the audio for PMP or how its muxed.
Works fine with the same settings in the XMB MP4 480 player with the FAAC audio though... |

Is the source to that PMPlayer Advance available anywhere? I couldn't find it, but it's obviously based on PMP Mod, so I just wanted to make sure. _________________ <Don't push the river, it flows.>

I can get NetHostFS working in iRShell, using 2.71 mode, but in PMPlayer Advance it only wants to do AdHoc, which doesn't want to work in 2.71... How?? |

you can read the nethost guide about irshell.
because ppa's nethost came from irshell[/quote]
PPA only seems to work in kernel 1.50 mode (GAME150 folder), so doesn't allow me to use my infrastructure connection... and because my PSP is 3.10OE I can't create an AdHoc profile in the XMB since its not 1.50...
iRShell in 2.71 mode connects via infrastructure perfectly though... |

Just was curious because I couldn't find a legit link to the source, but only dozens of links to the binaries on different asian forums and blogs (which I couldn't read to find a link to the original site) :)
BTW: Good work, PMP Advance looks very nice :) _________________ <Don't push the river, it flows.>

you can use PPA with wifi in 3.10OE.
but you can not use WPA secure mode , only WEP can work.
because WPA can not work in 1.50 kernel mode.
and the infrastructure connection's name not use "Adhoc",
if your connection's name is "adhoc", PPA will use adhoc mode to connect the PC.
to use adhoc mode, your must add some patched prx to ms0:/IRSHELL/SYSTEM |

thanks for your pmpavc mod( PMP MOD AVC 1.02M).
because the PPA's playback kernel is base on your MOD.
I just build a skin GUI only, :P |

Is possible add in some of new version of PMPlayer Advance support for East European Subtitles Charset (Code Page 1250) ?
So people from this part of World can fully enjoy in your great work.

Hi Milos,
My Czech subtitles are displayed properly :-). All you have to do is to copy any TTF (TrueType Font) you like to the font directory, edit the xml. Then save your subtitles in UTF-8 format (not cp1250) and set the UTF-8 in the players setting... After that, all is fine :-) |

Milos,
Try to use PSPad for saving in UTF-8 format and copy the font Verdana.ttf from Windows, this is working for me. |

OK, I try.
the charset convert functions is come from "iconv" project,
I just use a part of iconv to support cjk,
because iconv is so big to add to PPA. |
