Hello

Is it / will it be possible to play movies & mp3 via wifi?
Would be cool if the psp could access standard winxp smb shares.

Certainly a fun idea, but more likely you'll see a subscription-based music service directly from Sony where you can stream whatever music you want.

would be a nice idea if you could join SMB Networks. For wifi fileexchange or other stuff...neat feature if you could access the psp wirelessly from your pc.

but maybe someone will be able to program software for the psp so this is possible..and execute it from the memory card ?

the "execute from memorycard" part has to be solved first :)

There is a patent that shows the psp will connect to your ps3 in the future...also rumored that you will be able to play your ps3 on the psp screen....so playing a movie on your ps3 and music...could mean seeing a dvd movie and playing movie on your psp. If anyone interested, search and you will find this information.

Hopefully sony will have other options... I do not want a PS3 and if I have to buy one for this use, I'd rather get rid of my PSP...
