|
|
Hello. I am having troubles using any computer-side boot loader with PS2Link. I use PS2Link v1.24 (the one with the prebuilt ISO). I have my PS2 directly linked to my computer with a crossover cable. All the settings are correct. I can ping the PS2 prior to uploading an ELF, but then as soon as I upload an ELF or do a memory dump, the process stops (~50% according to InLink). I have tried all three Win32 PC side clients (InLink, XLink, and PS2EXEC) and none of them work correctly. As soon as I upload the ELF, Windows XP shows a "Network Connection Lost" bubble, and the LINK light blinks. I can no longer ping the PS2.
I use PS2 Net Adapter model SCPH-10350 (the one that comes with the Linux for PS2 kit) and PS2 model SCPH-39001. I believe the adapter works fine, because I can successfully get updates from Datel's Action Replay MAX website via the Internet.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. I tried including everything that I can think of that is relevant to the problem.
Thanks in advance,
Kevin E. |

| No. It doesn't. It is the simple Star Simulator example ELF from the website. |

Inlink is known to have issues. I don't know that it's the problem, but I'd highly recommend trying one of the other clients to see what happens. _________________ Shoot Pixels Not People!
