Now that we know things better... a question :D

Somebody knows what is the goal of the 2nd MIPS R4000 called the media engine ?

I understood it is coupled to to the AVC MPEG4 decompressor but... is it possible to run code on it ?

Are all the components memory mapped ? Or must we use explicitely the DMAC ?

I would ask the same question about the VFPU presented as a Vector Unit... (same as PS2 VU ?)

So much power in a so little box.... could be a nice Wifi scanner :D
