ok i downloaded this program. it came with a .elf file (isn't that the type of file the ps2 reads?) now can i burn the .elf file onto a disc and then run it on a non-modded ps2?

You can't read a burned cd on an unmodded PS2.

ok thnx. i wasn't sure because in the readme it said this

PS2MENU is a Hard Drive project meant at start to offer hdd booting that dms3 had, on a no-mod or other ps2
