We know there is a lot of J2ME application, especially game.
Almost all mobile can support J2ME,MIDP 1.0 or MIDP 2.0.
But the problem is how PSP can use these J2ME applications?

Need somebody port KVM to PSP platform?
Is it feasible?

There is no java on PSP, the only java that you will be able to utilize is on the wipeout or 2.0 browser via javascript.

Unless you wish to create a virtual machine for the PSP, which is not very feasible.

Sun open CLDC,MIDP source code in sun.com.
I think advanced programmer can port it to PSP platform.
But I hear that MIDP also need hardware support.
I don't know if PSP support it in hardware aspect?

Besides the fact that porting a VM to PSP would be a ***** to do, there is no real good reason to do so. The current method of running programs on the PSP is faster than Java could ever hope to be, and sports a helluva lot more features.

I made a port of Sun's KVM for GBA some time ago. You can find it at http://torlus.com/index.php?Gba with full source.

It was just a kind of "proof-of-concept". I don't think that it would be very really interesting to have J2ME on PSP, but well, if someone wants to give it a try, it might be worth a look.
