Hi, I had a 2.6 PSP and my stupid brother upgraded it to 2.71...

So, is there any site or resource where I can see the 2.71 to 1.5 downgrader progress?

Is it even being worked on?

Thanks.

These guys know what they're doing:
http://www.134.xbox100.com/unidg.html
They even have an EEPROM programmer!

Seriously, great first post.

Thanks art...

BTW I'm new to the PSP subject. So, I apologize for the newbie question:
Why is it not possible to flash the EEPROM or NAND chip on which the FW is located?

Because no one knows any way to run a program to do that on 2.71. You really should read more.

I already stated that I'm new to the PSP scene. So... no, I havn't read much about it.

I thoght maybe I could ask some question. and save some trouble instead of looking for information on a subject I don't know much about.

But they didn't manage to install it, but I'm sure they know how to connect it to ball grid array chips, once they get it running (LOL!)

For more serious information take a look at http://forums.ps2dev.org/viewtopic.php?t=5670
But looks like the images currently are not available.
