| Well, I guess you could do what everyone else does now, and that is they cross compile code on their PC's, just follow the guides for ps2 dev on here and skip the part where you need to send your program to the PS2, however, your not going to know if your program will work on a real PS2 of course unless you try it. |

If there is no environment to test, how can I know if the program is correct ... ?
I need a PS2 simulator runned on Windows, but I don't know how to get it. |

there is pcsx2 it's a ps2 emulator but not too much working at this time because the ps2 is a really complicated hardware. first of all it comes with a bios that's in't the original bios but a homebrew one that's not the max it is really incomplete. to have a real bios you need a real ps2 or it's warez. and anyway it doesn't emulate very well for example i tried initializing the mc and the programs (the ps2 elf made by me) freezes, in the real ps2 the programs work perfectly.
buy a ps2 it's better for all things than an emulator, you can't even initialize any dev9, hdd and other things or it'll freeze |
