I've picture and sound for about 5 seconds and then the wifi light go off and the PSP have a big bug. I must remove the battery to shut down my PSP.
I use this homebrew on 4.01 M33-2 firmware : PMPVLC009_OE_Rev4-test-binaries
Here is my pmp.ini :

And here are my VLC settings :

Hi, binary: PMPVLC009_OE_Rev4-test-binaries.zip runs well on psp slim with custom firmware 4.01 M33-2 but when i choose Live Stream, the word "Loading" appear in the PSP screen and after about 20 seconds the PSP goes off, can it be of the version of PMPVLC???, is there any other version that can work???
Thanks to all.... |

I was delighted to find out pmpvlc was able to work on the slim after almost wasting money on a Sony streaming device. I downloaded it to my psp and it actually loaded it. i followed all the directions after doing this i get the audio stream perfect but in place of the video are the words live stream in red and a visualizer that pulses to the audio. I'll start with my specs I'm running windows media center '05 on an alienware area 51m 7700 :3GHz P4 gig ddr2:1- 100gig hdd,1 120gighdd:4 gigs ddr2 memory:nvidia go6800:2-dual layer 8x dvdr.conexant falcon II tv tuner.
My goal is to stream my explorer 8300 cable box video connected via s-video in to my psp. i get audio crystal clear but no video .I dont know if this helps but when i open vlc and choose my tv tuner when i click advanced options and tuner input type i can only choose between cable and antenna no s-video option could this be why i have no video i dont know i will leave that up to a person who reads this with more knowledge on the subject. any and all help would be appreciated thankyou. |

| Ok 1 week and not 1 reply i can only assume this thread is dead. oh well looks like i may have to shell out for the sony device after all. what a shame i finally got the app to load on my slim and it doesnt work right. |

Hi all you guys.., only to tell you that i have 0.8 and 0.9 relases runing in my 5.0m33-4 , but im using PSP FAT, with 1.50 kernel patch ^^
i think that the ppl wich have SLIM must try with timemachine to run 1.50 in slim and then try to run pmpvlc 0.X for 1.50 kernel.
I was tryed with pmpvlc 0.9 for 3.XX and run but when it conects to videolan in stream video not work, and the same in video or music, and same with DVD.
With pmpvlc 0.9 for kernel 1.50 aaaaaaall the stuff works like a charm ^^

With regards to the 3.XX Kernel, you have to set a HEAP for stuff. Otherwise stuff won't always work as it should.

You don't need to use 1.5 kernel. The 0.9 OE release in the 1st post works perfectly with 5.0 kernel of 5.0M33-4 CFW. I can stream TV or video files using VLC. |
