1. is there any kind of psp simulator which could help debugging without a psp?
2. is the EBOOT able to execute on a linux platfrom?
3. i bet XMB is ported from a linux system, is that rite? |

1. There is no good psp emulator. http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/psp/
2. nope.
3. I don't know. but i don't think so.
For debugging you can use psplink. It works for me.
Correct me if i'm wrong... |

PSPLink is probably your best option.
I personally use JGE++ for my current project, it allows to code for both windows and PSP, so you can do 95% of your dev/testing/debugging on windows
