I want to use prx's from other applications like maybe irshell or other things i would just like to see what functions their using and so on and maybe use some functions from the ofw firmwares how do i decrypt the prx so that i can use it and also i heard something about decompressing them to how do i do that

To decompress a gzipped one:

Delete the first 0x150(or until the 0x150 mark) then rename to .gz. Works like a charm for me.

Then after those things other people say, you can disassemble them with prxtool. Its a good tool to use to find the commands in prx files

If you already have documentation, you don't really need to decrypt a prx to use it...

From the PC side you can use one of many tools. PRX recomp, PRX compressor (it can decompress), etc.

For official PRX you HAVE to use prxdecryptor.
