| I want to use prx's from other applications like maybe irshell or other things i would just like to see what functions their using and so on and maybe use some functions from the ofw firmwares how do i decrypt the prx so that i can use it and also i heard something about decompressing them to how do i do that |

To decompress a gzipped one:
Delete the first 0x150(or until the 0x150 mark) then rename to .gz. Works like a charm for me. _________________ Programming with:

| Then after those things other people say, you can disassemble them with prxtool. Its a good tool to use to find the commands in prx files |

| If you already have documentation, you don't really need to decrypt a prx to use it... |

From the PC side you can use one of many tools. PRX recomp, PRX compressor (it can decompress), etc.
For official PRX you HAVE to use prxdecryptor. |

Let's say i meant :you dont' have ALWAYS to decrypt a prx to use it... |
