Hello world!
I'm searching for a way to let my program operate in the background (like making screenshots) while doing other things on psp.

By now I can't imagine how that could be managed.
It would be great if someone could post some main codes for this here.

Thanks in advance!!

Fejwin

Never mind that you're PROBABLY talking about hacking a game here, but that info IS posted in many threads. Use search and find it all yourself.

Well I can assure you, that I'm not going to do any illigal stuff.
I just thought about something to make screenshots while playing, or/and displaying the current time in the upper right edge of the screen without having to press HOME and interrupt the game, or/and showing the percentage of the battery charge for a few seconds after pushing a combination of buttons without having to go all the way to system properties menu.
A custom support interface with little but handy features that aren't included in the firmware ))

I know there probably ARE programms like this but I just would like to try and compile one myself.

TOPIC:
Letting my program operate in the background.
As I can't imagine how this could be managed, I also don't know which words to use searching for this information on the search engine of this forum.
What should I actually search for? ))

You're looking for examples of vsh plugins and the like. These are .prx files. That should be enough to help in searching for the threads.

Talk about the issue will be scattered. If you want to look at some actual code, look at the Custom Firmware Extender.

http://mydedibox.homelinux.com/downloads/PSP/Custom_Firmware_Extender_1.2.zip

It comes with the source, and should show you all about plugins.

Somehow this doesn't want to work on 3.52m33-4...
I've placed it into the root and activated the plugins, but they just dont do anything
kernel is switched to 1.50
I'm using BOOSTER's normal boot ipl

What do i do wrong?
